Our Story
The art of cleaning is in our genes. Our founder, Sam Kite, moved to Fort Worth from Oklahoma City in 1951 to help manage his uncle's dry cleaning plant. With years of experience, Sam decided to strike out on his own and open Kite's Circle K Cleaners in 1958.

Eco-Friendly Wet Cleaning
As a pioneer in the industry, Kite's Custom Cleaners has been at the forefront of eco-friendly cleaning methods. Our eco-friendly wet cleaning process uses special biodegradable detergents and fresh water to clean almost all garments that can be dry cleaned. Our state-of-the-art computerized washing machines control the amount of water, soap, and agitation each load receives. Wet cleaned clothes are soft to the touch, with no chemical odor or residue.

Hand Cleaning
For your most delicate pieces, like garments with beads, lace, or sheer fabric, nothing beats good old-fashioned hand cleaning. Our cleaning experts have magic in their hands. Garments are mostly soaked in a gentle detergent and experience little, if any, agitation. They are then hung up to dry and hand pressed on a finishing board.
